Manchester based electronic artist Twin Complex follows up his 2020 debut album ‘The Distance Between Us All’ with his new single ‘Helix’. An evocative turn from the producer, the track deftly combines emotively-charged musicality with precision-engineered club functionality. Its sweeping atmospherics and striding melodies bring to mind the explorative IDM of Aphex Twin, while its propulsive UK techno rhythm and slinky bass slugs recalls the recent work of Overmono. The release is the dawn of an ongoing multi-media project, a gradual campaign that will encompass further singles, generative A.I. work, and a series of music videos that build on his background in film-making.
